EDIT: Just found out through a buddy of mine that the Photoshop file DOES work in GIMP with a few small and easily fixed errors. Apparently the dashes that are text files in photoshop are rasterized to image layers in GIMP. I've never used it to know how compatible the two are, but there ya go!
